COLLISION WITH CYCLE.
PURSUIT OF MOTORIST. EARLY MORNING INCIDENT. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. When driving along Page's Road at 1.30 a.m. yesterday, a motorist ran into a stationary motor-cycle, on which there were a man and a girl. The latter was on the pillion seat. The cycle was carried thirty feet by the impact, and the girl was thrown off, but it is stated that the driver of the car did not slacken his speed. A motor-cyclist near by chased the car and managed to catch up with it, after travelling at 50 miles an hour, but ho was ridden into the gutter by the car driver, who swerved over as the motor-cyclist tried to get in front. The girl was taken to the hospital, but her condition is not serious.
