If you wish to be very up-to-date your hat brooch must bo a tiny replica of your house, cottage, flat or villa in gold, platinum, or precious stones. A very wealthy London woman ordered from her jeweller threo lovely brooches; one was a replica of her country cottage, with " lights " in tho windows, the second a one-insh model of her car, with lamps and mascot complete, and the third was a, picture, also one inch long, of her Cairn terrier, in platinum, with jewelled eyes and ivory teeth!
