ROYAL SERVANTS' BALL.
An event which is always looked forward to with great eagerness during Their Majesties' residence at Balmoral Castle is the ball which is given every year for the ghillies and servants of the estate. The dances on the programme are always of the most old-fashioned kind—lancers, quadrilles, and the Highland reel. The ball is always opened by tho Queen herself, who dances in the grand march with one of her servants.
