Passing the stands Mashoor and Luminary were to: ither in front from Dark Prince, Day Lass, St. Ames and Star Comet. Luminary and Dark Prince showed the way along the back to Tvfashoor and Star Comet, and they were still ir. front, at the cutting from Master Lu. Star Comet, Mashoor and Day Lass. Day Lass fell at th< second to last fence, while Star Comet fell on the flat, just after getting over it. Running round the turn Master Lu headed Luminary and he drew away in the run from the last fence to beat the favourite by five lengths. Mashoor was a. neck away third and Dark Prince was fourth. Then followed Claremore nnd St. Ames. Master Lu relished the soft going and stayed 011 too well for the others. Luminary had every chance and was a shade lucky to beat. Mashoor for second.
