BAD CRIME RECORD.
NEW SOUTH WALES IN 1930. MANY SERIOUS OFFENCES. SYDNEY. Deo. 31. Fifteen murdors, many manslaughter cases, scores of suicides, 100 hold-ups and innumerable burglaries is the police crime summary for New South Wales for 1930, which was one of tho most formidable on record. Tho hundredth hold-up occurred last night when two men attacked a woman at Waverley, viciously assaulted her, gagged and bound her to a chair, stolo 12s and escaped. The woman collapsed under tho terrifying ordeal and was unconscious for somo time.
