WEDDINGS.

HUMM —CANN. The wedding was celebrated at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Hamilton, recently of Miss Isabel Helen Cann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cann, of Ulster Street, Hamilton, and Mr. Eric Huram, second son of Mr. and Mrs. S. Humtn, of Hamilton. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a frock of ivory satin georgette and silver lace. Her veil was held in place by a circlet of orange blossoms and velvet flowars and she carried a shower bouquet. In attendance as bridesmaids were Miss D. Humm, who wore a period frock of peach georgette with a black picture hat, and Miss V. Cann, who also wore a period frock of lime-green georgette with similar hat. Both carried posies to tone with their frocks. Little Beryl McCubbin was flower girl and wore a frock of rainbow tulle with head-dress to tone. She carried a basket of pastel-shaded flowers Mr. V. Hollis, of Cambridge, was best man and Mr. W. Cann was groomsman. The Rev. H. G. Gilbert officiated and Mr. A 1 thorp played the wedding rnusiic. After the ceremony a reception was held at The Centreway, the bride's mother receiving her guests wearing a frock of russet silk with a navy silk coat, and hat 'io tone. She carried a bouquet of shaded roses. The bridegroom's mother wore a navy and white frock with hat to tone. She carried a bouquet or red roses. McGUIR E—TURNER. The marriage of Miss Coral Thelma Turner, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Turner, of Auckland, to Mr. William Alfred McGuire, younger son of Mrs. and the late Mr. J. P. McGuire, of Auckland, was celebrated at the Church, of the Holy Sepulchre on Wednesday morning. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. E. Draper. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of white satin with slightly pouched hip yoke, the skirt falling to the ankles in three frills. Her embroidered veil, which formed a train, was held in place with clusters of orange blossom, and she carried a sheaf of Christmas lilies. In attendance as bridesmaid was Miss Jean Hill, of Wnihi, who wore a frock oi green georgetto with a tight-fitting bodice and ankle-length frilled skirt ornamented with small satin flowers. Bho wore a picture lint and carried a bouquet of pink roses. Miss Norma Hill was flower girl, and wore an ankle-length frock of .primrose georgetto with a capo collar, and a silver Juliet cap. Sho carried a posy of cornflowers. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Jack Taylor as best man. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Domain Tea Kiosk, 2SI rs. Turner receiving in a frock of green figured georgette. with a black hat. Mrs. McGuire, the bridegroom's mother, was in a frock of black crepe do chine with a black hat.
