YESTERDAY'S WEATHER.
CONDITIONS IN SOUTH.
Auckland.—A light rain shower was experienced early yesterday morning and afterwards there was a"continuation of the fine summer weather which has prevailed for two weeks. Tho barometer was steady at SO.lOin. last night. Wellington.—The weather was "again dull yesterday. There was a little mist on tho hills, although it was not nearly as heavy as on tho preceding day. The wind was from the north in the morning and / changed to the south in the afternoon.
Ohristchurch.—The weather yesterday was dull and cool, with the wind from the south-west in tho morning and the north-east in the afternoon. The maximum temperature was 61 degrees. The barometer had little movement, the reading in the evening being-30.10in.
Dunedin.—Tho weather was dull and overcast yesterday morning but the afternoon was clear and pleasant. Tho wind was light from the south-west and the maximum temperature was 57 degrees. The barometer was high and fairly steady, the reading in the evening being 30.00 in.
