Juvenile Handicap: Tray Bond and Sporting Chance. Marton Cup: Merry .Damon and Rnanui. Dash Handicap: Adolphi and Leisure. . Railway Handicap: Freehold and Arisus. New Year Handicap: Grand Jury and Tunbridge. Stewards' Handicap: Rational 11. and Cushier.

Tho New Plymouth track was in good order for tho final trials for Slrutford this morning. Arvada galloped half a mile on the plough in 51 l-ss. Latakia went well over five furlongs on the plough in J. 4. Melissa, who looks very well, went once round ut three-duarter pace. She will take her place in the cup field. Sparkling Morn and Cornerman dashed over two furlongs in 245. Marjoram took 1.38 for seven furlongs. He did the first half-mile in 535, bjti was then eased over the Inst three. The Swell and Evening Hero did an easy mile on the plough in 1.54, tho last five furlongs .taking 1.0. Manly and Crennatown took 1.4J for five furlongs, both going well. Gold Dawn, under a strong pull all the way, ran half n mile in 555.
