Sir James Parr, formerly High Commissioner for New Zealand in London, expects to return to lb© Dominion next March, to a friend in Auckland Sir James says that since leaving the High Commissioner's office he has had a very busy and interesting year touring Britain, organising and delivering speerher. about Empire trade. Generally, he says, his meetings enthusiastically condemned free trade, and he predicts that " it will be knocked out at >the next general election." The change in public opinion throughout England had been most marked and the desire to. do more business v.-Ith the dominions was growing every day.
