Public Notice is hereby given that the following resolution, passed at a Special Meeting of the Auckland City Council, and convened for that purpose, and held on the I 16th day of December, 1930, and intended to operate as a Special Order, will come up for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the Auckland City Council, to be held on THURSDAY, the 15th day of January, 1931, in the Council Chamber, Town Hall, Auckland. at 2 o'clock p.m.:— "That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act. 1920, the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, the Local Government Loans Board Act, 192G, and of all other powers thereunto, enabling it, the Auckland City Council doth hereby, by Special Resolution, intended to operate as a Special Order, resolve to borrow the sum of One Hundred and Ninety-eight Thousand Six Hundred Pounds (£198.000). by way of special loan, to be known as the Consolidated Loan (1903), Redemption Loan, 1931, for the purpose of puying off portion of a special loan of Three Hundred and Ten Thousand Two Hundred Pounds (£310,200). raised by the Auckland City Council and maturing on the Ist day of January, 1931, at a rate of interest not exceeding Five Pounds Fifteen Shillings (£5 15s) per centum per annum, for a period of 20 years from the date of the raising of the Loan, and that the Security for the said Loan shall be a Special Rate of one penny and five-eighths in the pound on the annual value of nil rateable property in the City sf Auckland."—J, S.
