CYCLE STRIKES WAGGON.
DRUMS FALL ON RIDERS. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Monday. Injuries were received by Mr. Barry Penney, of Nile Street East, Nelson, when riding pillion on a motor-cyclo driven by Mr. Pat Gibbons, of Nelson, as the resn.lt of a collision with a waggon loaded with drums of benzine. The drums fell off the waggon and showered upon the unfortunate cyclists. Mr. Penney's injuries include a cut over the left eye, injury to the right knee, extensive bruises, abrasions and cuts, none of which is serious. Mr. Gibbons escaped with a few bruises and shock.
