YESTERDAY'S WEATHER.
CONDITIONS IN SOUTH. Auckland.—There was a continuation of fine weather yesterday, but' (he sky was dull and cloudy in the morning, the wind having changed from north to south. After being steady at 30,00iri. all day the barometer was rising last night. Wellington.—The weather was again fine, but djill, yesterday. The temperature was mild, with a wind from the north. Christclnirch.—-Although bright in the morning, the weather in the afternoon was overcast, but warm, with a light hreeze from the north-east. The maximum temperature was 65 degrees. The barometer was falling, the reading in the evening being 29.80 in. Dunedin.—Fine weather and cloudy conditions prevailed yesterday, with a light wind from the south-west. The temperature was almost as warm as Tuesday, the thermometer registering 75 degrees. The) barometer was steady at 29.80 m.
