EXHIBITION OF PRINTS.

THREE SERIES ON VIEW. Another • interesting exhibition of Medici prints presented to the city by Mr. Moss Davis was opened in the Art Gallery yesterday. It is the third selection of tho 70 prints in this collection and is representative of the Italian and French masters, previous exhibitions having been devoted to the Flemish, Dutch, German, English and Spanish groups.

A notable series of famous Madonnas is included in the collection, among them the "Sistine Madonna" of Raphael and the smaller "Madonna and Child" 4akenfrom the same print. Although very familiar to the public, the prints aro well worth viewing on account of their authentic, and magnificent colouring. There is also the panel "Madonna Delia Granduca," tho "Madonna, Child and Angels" of Franceses, tho "Madonna and. Child with Cherubim" of Mantegua and tho even better-known "Madoqna Enthroned" of Giorgione. There is a small reproduction of "The Last Supper" of Da Vinci and _ the same painter's celebrated "Monna Lisa. A Bellini, "Tho Dead Christ," a Guido Reni, "Tho Youth of the Virgin, ami the imaginative "Dante and His Book ( by Miehelino and "The Holy Family bv Filippo Lippi are among other rolllection, "Bacchus and , 1J Tribute Money' and Po^™ fc , , * Man." Corrcggio is represented by "The Education of. Ctipid, Corot "Souvenir de Monte Foulaine, LanCVet bv "Tho Music Lesson," Lebrun by tho portrait of Mario Antoinette, VUtteau hv "Lecon d'aniour, Cossa by A,le gory of Harvest," and by 'Giovana Torijabuoni and the _Gracos.
