SALARIES OF TEACHERS.
NO REDUCTION AT PRESENT. OFFICIAL ASSURANCE GIVEN. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] WELLINGTON, Friday. The secretary of the New Zealand Educational Institute, Mr. H. A. Parkinson, has been officially assured that there will be no reduction in the salaries of teachers as a result of the present financial stringency.
