AUSTRALIAN STAGE STAR. Jolm Garriek, who is known in Hollywood as tho " Prince of Wales of Picures," because of his resemblance to the British Crown heir, has tho leading male rolo opposite Jeanette Macdonald in " Lottery Bride," Arthur Hammerstoin's new Unitod Artists' picture. Hammerstcin was impressed by his work in " Married in Hollywood," " The Sky Hawk," .and " Song of my Heart." Garrick went to tho United 'States from Australia with " Tho Wishing Well" musical comedy company. He had been a " matineo idol" in Australia, having appeared there in " Rio Rita " and " No, No, Nanette," under his real name, Reginald Dandy.
