Kathleen McKay.—Yes, I have visited Qceenstown twice, Kathleen, and it is certainly a very pretty place. I climbed to the top of Ben Lomond one day, and we liad a wonderful view of the Alps. Marjorie Duffel'.—l think you might call the little lamb Midget. I hope you will have a very happy Christinas. I am not going away.
Ciirn TTawkesby.—The sketch was good, and I will use it as on illustration to some epeciiu item.
Hugh Mountfort.—l would be ever eo pleased to have a picture for my office. Hugh. I like your ships, and the tinted ferns are beautiful.
Joan llill.—l am so glad mother is feeling better. I used to feel just the same about housework, but the only thing is to do it as cheerfully as possible.
Elma Lee.—Many thanks for tho poems, which are timely. I had already kept the om from the Journal.
Mac Allcock. —I wns glad to hear from you. Mac. I had been wondering how it v.as you had not written for such a long time. Raymond Epps: A membership certificate has been posted to you. The verses, as you say, arc rather weak, but they show a spirit of kindness. One line 1 liked was " A dog is the best for a schoolboy's pal." If you read our page regularly you will find out when there nre story or essay competitions.
