MOTOR-BOAT ROMANCE.
A friendship formed through a mutual interest in motor-boat racing had a sequel recently, when Miss Zoe Livcscy, of Oatlands, Surrey, was married to Mr. Claudo Alfred Walters-Wilkin, who until recently was general manager of Motor-Boat Speedways, at Rickmansworth. After a successful rowing career, Miss Livescy took up outboard motor-boat racing about two years ago, and so met her future husband. While she was a member of the Ladies' Section, Weybridge Rowing Club, she was in the crew which won for England the first women's international rowing match in Belgium, 1927. Miss Livesey, in 1929, took part in a venturesome cross-Channel rifotor.-boat attempt, and was second in Inst, year's motor-boat international on the Thames.
