WEDDINGS.

KATTERNS-CAMPBELL. The wedding took place at St. Matthew's Church on Wednesday evening of Miss Winnie Amy Campbell, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Campbell, late of the Riviera, New Lynn, to Mr. Robert Malcolm Katterns, only son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Katterns. of Arden Street, Auckland. The Rev. Grant Cowen performed the ceremony. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a gown of ivory silk hand-embroidered tulle over crepe de chine. Her veil, also of embroidered tulle, was arranged with a cape effect, and fell to form a train. Clusters of orange blossom over each ear held it to the head. A bouquet of white flowers was carried. Miss Lorna Clark.* cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid and wore a frock of apricot crepe moire, with three-tiered skirt opening in front over the same shaded frilled georgette. A capo collar fell to the waistline at the back. A larkspur blue picture hat was also worn, and she carried a bouquet of apricot and blue flowers. Mr. W. Sandham was best man. A reception was held at the Penrith tearooms, where Mrs. Campbell received wearing a black silk georgette ensemble relieved with pale green and black hat trimmed with floral georgette. Mrs Katterns was in black silk marocain and black Bangkok hat. WHITE—WIIITFORD. The marriage of Miss Gene Whit ford, youngest daughter of Mr. and the late Mrs. Thomas Whitford; of Auckland, to Mr. Martin White, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. M. B. White, of Henderson, was celebrated at St. Matthew's Church, Auckland, recently. The Rev. Canon Grant Cowen performed the ceremony. I lie bride, who entered the church with her foster-father. Mr. Megson, wore an anklelength frock of shell pink georgette, fashioned with tight-fitting bodice and tucked skirt of early Victorian mode. She carried a cream horseshoe bouquet of spring flowers. In attendance as bridesmaids were Miss Marie (chief bridesmaid) and Miss Dorothy White, sisters of the bridegroom. They wore ankle-length frocks of lime green made with tight-fitting bodices with flared skirts and picture hats to match They carried sheafs of harmonising flowers. Little Doreen Sinfield was flower girl. She wore a frilled pale pink georgette frock. Her head-dress was of silver tinsel ribbon with rosebuds on each side to tone with her frock. A silver basket of flowers was carried. Little Colin Megson acted as trainbearer and wore a pale green and silver English court suit. Mr. N. White, brother of the bridegroom, was best man, and Mr. Cecil Herdson, groomsman. The wedding breakfast and reception were held at the Farmers'. Mrs. Megson, foster-mother of the bride, received her guests in a frock of brown and larkspur blue marocain with hat fo match. Mrs. M. B. White, mother of the bridegroom, wore an ensemble of black and white beaute with hat to match.
