(Published by Arrangement.) SUMMER FLOWER SHOW. A MAGNIFICENT DISPLAY. Visitors to the Auckland Horticultural Society's recent show were greatly impressed with the non-competitive exhibit put up by Mr. J. Cullen, of Waimauku. Outstanding itemii were a fine collection of both bearded and Japanese irises, gladiolus ana ger'neras. These latter were said to bo the finest ever seen in Auckland, particularly fine being two large pink varieties, with immense blooms and stems nearly 3ft. long. Another sensational item, was a collection of dahlia blooms, including several magnificent American noveltios. Flower-lovers will no doubt look forward to seeing Mr. Cnllen's exhibit at the Auckland Gladiolus Society's Show in St. David's Hall, Khyber Pass,, on December 18, where Mr. Cullen will be in personal attendance.
