ACTIVITIES AT HAMILTON.

The annual meeting of the Hamilton branch of the British and Foreign Biblo Society was held to-day, Mrs. Stephenson Craig presiding. A satisfactory year's operations were disclosed in the annual report, which stated that all tho country districts had shown increases in membership. A new branch had been formed at Gordonton. The amount of monoy raised during the year in tho Hamilton district was £2BB. An address on the work accomplished by tho society, illustrated with statistics relating to its growth, was given by the Dominion secretary, the Rev. D. Calder, of Wellington. Tho following officers were elocted for the ensuing year:—President, Mrs. Stephenson Craig; vice-presidents, Mrs. I W. Eraser, tho Rev. 11. G. Gilbert, Misses T. White, E. V. Stace, F. Findlay; treasurer, Mr. C. L. MacDiarmid; secretary, Miss B. Henry.
