GERMAN FLYING-BOAT.
NEW BRITISH ENGINES. ATLANTIC FLIGHT DEFERRED. LONDON". Nov. 17. Tt is understood that tlio Atlantic flight of the. German flying-boat Do. X is to be postponed until new British engines have been installed. When Dr. Dornicr was in England last week he arranged for the Do. X to be equipped with eight, 900 horse-power ■Rolls-Royce engines to replace the 12 600 horse-power engines at present installed; The designer calculates that the removal of two pairs of tandem engines will give increased performance owing to the lessened resistance.
