FIRE INSURANCE RATES.

EXTENSION OF WATERWORKS. [BY TELEGIiArH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] PUKEKOHE, Tuesday. Advice that representatives of the Fire Underwriters' Association' had yesterday inspected the borough waterworks system in connection with the request for reduction in the rates charged for fire insurance in Pukekohe, Was received by the Pukekohc Borough Council last evening. The association's decision would be conveyed to the council in the light of the knowledge gained by the inspection.
