COX'S CREEK.
Sir,—l am glad to see that the residents of Grey Lynn and Westmere are stirring in this matter at last. It is certainly high time that something was done to improve this unsightly menace to Die public health. I live a mile away from the creek, but I always know when tho tide is falling at the creek. For as long as I can remember allusions to Cox's Creek have constituted the standing jokes of visiting theatre companies. A short while ago a friend of mine received a letter from Australia, addressed to Cox's Creek, New Zealand, and it found him. Surely this is indication enough of Cox's Creek notoriety. There is plenty of money to spend on other parts of the city but Grey Lvnn always seems to have been the Cinderella. Another, Resident.
