BUTTER-FAT PAYMENTS.

Tho Now Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, has decided to make an advance payment of 9£d per lb. to suppliers of butter-fat for butter making and Is per lb. for butter-fat for cheese making. These prices are for superfine quality snppliedxiu October. BAY OF PLENTY FIGURES. INCREASE IN OUTPUT. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TE PUKE, Monday. The dairying industry in the To Puke district continues to mako rapid advancement, and there is a substantial advance in production. The Boy of Plenty---Dairy Association has manufactured for the season 416 tons of butter, compared with 395 tons for the corresponding period last year. Butter-fat received from suppliers totalled 372,8091b, for October, as against 346,0771b. for the same month last season. Tho amount to bo distributed to suppliers on November 20 totals £13,923, whereas the amount advanced for October, 1929, was £24,815. Tho total paid out for tho season to date is £33,024, compared with £51,679 for the corresponding period of the 1929-30 sez>son.

INCREASE IN PRODUCTION.

The East Tamaki Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, is advancing for October £11,533 on the basis of lid per lb. butter-fat, plus £d for share cap.tal Butter made for the first five months of the season totalled 377 tons against 313 tons for tho same period last year, amount paid out for the presenfc WMOB is £34,991, against £4\,010 for the cor responding period last year.
