CONSUL TRANSFERRED.

MR. F. T. SUNG OF SYDNEY. SUCCESSOR ANNOUNCED. SYDNEY, Nov. 14. The Consul-General for China, Mr. F. T. Sung, states that he has been transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at Nanking. He is to be succeeded in Australia by Mr. Kwei Chih, formerly Consul in New Zealand. Mi* Sung denies that he was dismissed for insubordination and says he is being removed at his own request owing to his wife's health.
