ARBITRATION ACT.
NEW SOUTH WALES BILL. NEW GOVERNMENT'S PROPOSALS. SYDNEY. Nov. 14. Among the first policy bills of the new Now South Wales Government will be one to amend the Arbitration Act, securing effective preference to unionists and the abolition of the loyalist unions formed within tho Government services as the result of the 1927 strike troubles. Tho bill' will also provide a general reversion to the 44-hours week and tho ie* peal of the provision permitting piecework, contracting or any other system of payment by results.
