A NEW PUSS MOTH.

The Fuss Moth aeroplane purchased recently by the Auckland Aero Club is due to arrive in Auckland next week, and will bo the first club-owned machine of its type in the' country, and the third Puss Moth to be brought to New Zealand. There are two others here already, one owned by the Rotornn Airways Company and the' other by the Air Survey and Transport Company. The machine, which is a semi-cantilever high-wing monoplane, is fitted with a Gipsy 111 engine of 120 horse-power, and has a high speed of 128 miles an hour, a cruising speed of 110, and a stalling speed of 42, under normal conditions.

The Puss Moth has a cruising range of 750 miles, and there is accommodation for two passengers as well as the pilot. The machine will bo used for fairly long flights and should prove a centre of attraction among locally trained pilots whoso experience has burn confined solely to ordinary Gipsy Moths.
