ENLARGED GLANDS.
BY A ntYSICIAN. Glands in any part of the body become enlarged when they have too much work to do. Rut the mero fact of having enlarged glands may not mean that anything serious is the matter. The glands of the neck often get bigger when tlioro are sores on the scalp, when the tonsils arc septic, or from bad teeth. 'I hose in the groin enlarge as a result of sores on the feet or legs. Tho glands in tho armpits are often enlarged from septic wounds or boils ou the hands or arms. II the ordinary treatment of these septic infections is successful the glands in a very short time return to their normal size. \ou should always consult your doctor if you can't find one.of these simple causes, or if/thfo glands don't disappear when the I'oihonca sore has cleared up.
