FOR SMART GIRLS. Everybody wears gauntlet gloves now, and the smartest girls 1 iKn those which liorwt gaily-hued decorations to match (lie frocks or coats with which they arc worn. It's simple to add this new touch yourself! All you need is an old suede belt, (this can be rubbed with sonio line sand paper, and it will look like new), and a spare hour or so. 'lhe top pair of
gloves shown in the illustration have gauntlets made from three old waistbelts of contrasting colour, while the next pair have a triangular border of red leather. If you favour a trim navy outfit—well, then, add two wavy lines of blue suede to vour gloves and let them tone in with your coat, hat and handbag!
