TWO WEDDING ROMANCES.
MOTHER AND SON. 1 lie romances of a mother and son were revealed recently when, following the announcement, that Mr. do Crey Wartor, son of Vera Countess Cat heart, had heen secretly married, came the news that the countess would marry Sir Rowland Hodge, the millionaire baronet.
Sir I lowland Hodge, who is 7J, is one of the best-known men in the shipping world.
Vera Countess Cut heart has been married twice previously. Her first husband, Captain Henry do Grey Warier, of the Ist Dragoon Guards, was killed in the Croat War, lrpv.'fy, a son and a daughter. In 1919 she married the sth Karl Cathcarl. Ihe nuiriiage was dissolved in 1922 and the earl died in 1927.
Iho countess' son, Mr. Henry de Grey Wartor. who is 19, has followed his mother's example in marrying young, for she was only 16 when she was married to his father. Mr. Warten was married secretly to Miss Mabel Bowers Roan, formerly a Midnight Follies actress, who has also appeared in musical comedy and revue in London. Mr. Wartor is a half brother of the 10-year-old Earl Cathcart.
