MOTOR-CYCLE RACING.
MEETING AT MANGERE. PROGRAMME FOR TO-DAY. Somo exciting contests should be witnessed at the motor-cycle race meeting to be held at Henning's Speedway, Mangere, this afternoon. The meeting has been organised by the North Shore MotorCyclo and Sports Club, and numerous entries have been received. The track is in good condition for fast work and as the competitors have spent considerable time in tuning their machines it is expected that the speeds will be high. Somo really fast machines have been prepared and the main events should bo keenly contested. Arrangements have been made for the results of each race to be announced from loud-speakers. The first race will be at two o'clock.
The programme is as follows:—2so c.c. handicap of four laps; sidecar handicap, of four laps; 350 c.c. handicap, of five laps; 500 c.c. open handicap, of six laps; open championship, of seven laps; 350 c.c. championship, of four laps; open handicap, of four laps; and consolation handicap, of four laps.
