COMPETITION AT MAUKU. [I)Y TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] PUKEKOIIE. Friday. Judging in tlio pasture competition held by tho Mauku of the Farmers' Union this year has been completed. Mr. IS. M. Wright, nf Mauku, won first place with a total of 86 points, comprising 18 points for pasture control and 68 points for sward. Mr. R. Menibery, Patumahoe, with points, was second, and Mr. C. A. Crispe, Mauku, points, third.
