(Received November 13. 11.55 p.m.) \ SYDNEY, Nov. 13 ( Mr. Oscar Garden, the young New Zea land airman who recently flew from Eng land to Australia, landed at Mascot I aerodrome this afternoon from Melbourne ! after a very "bumpy" flight. He stopped at ( Canberra on the way. Tho airman had a narrow escape fron injury at Canberra. His aeroplane came tc a standstill after landing when a heavy gust of wind struck it at an angle. The machine tipped over on one wing, balanced for a few seconds, and then fell back on tho landing wheels. No damago was dono On the journey Mr. Garden encountered frequent air pockets.
