BARRACKERS' COMFORT.
PROVISION IN MELBOURNE,^ Barrackers at football " and cricket} matches in Melbourne in future will bar* rack in comfort. According to the Minister of Lands for Victoria, Mr. Bailey, the worker or anyono elso who goes to ft ' cricket or football match must no longer stand in the rain or heat. .They must have seating accommodation. Tho Ministry has appointed four additional trustees of tho Melbourne Cricket Ground—Mr. Bailey himself, the AttorneyGeneral (Mr. Slater), and two Labour, members of Parliament. As workers comprised the bulk of spectators at sporting events, said Mr. Bailey, it was about timo thoy had representation on such bodies.
