AUCKLAND CLUB. CLOSING OF THE SEASON. The Auckland Golf Club's season will officially close at Middlemore to-morrow, when mixed foursomes will be played. Members and their friends will tie the guests of the president and Mrs. Gilfillan at afternoon tea. Prizes won during the season will be presented at 4..'!0. TITIRANGI LADIES' CLUB. i'liero was a large attendance of members at the annual meeting and prize-giving of the Titirangi Todies' Golf Club held yesterday. The election ot officers resulted as follows :—President, Mrs. W. J. A. Thomson: captain. Mrs. K. L. Wilson; secretary. Miss B. M. Grierson; handicapper. Mrs. Melrose; committee. Mesdames G. L. Taylor, 'l'. W. Hosking, Henrys, O'Leary, Court. The trophies won during the season were presented by Mrs. Thomson to the following :—Championship Cup, Mrs. Hosking; junior championship cup. Miss M. Cooke; Ballin Cup and captain's trophy, Miss I\. Ilorton; trophy for the best gross scores and the Grevatt Vase. Mrs. Deighton. A four-ball, best-ball bogey match was played yesterday morning. Following were the best cards returned:—M iss M. Miller and Miss C. Wills, 1 up; Mrs. Ferguson and Mrs. K. Allison, all square.
