DRAPERS' ASSOCIATION.
OFFICERS FOR COMING YEAR. .Various matters connected with t.he trade were discussed at the annual meeting of the Auckland Drapers and Boot Retailers' Association, held yesterday. Tho retiring president, Mr. T. Clark, presided. After a vote of thanks had been passed to the retiring president and the secre. tary for their work during the year the following officers were elected:—President., M. L. O'Malley; vice-presidents, Messrs. J. W. Court and E. E. Kitchener; committee, Messrs. George Ashley, G. O. Blakey, A. L. C'aughey, W. Marks, B. Marshall. J. S.' Milne, J. R. Rondel), F. A. Smith, H. Wright, H. Thomson,' G. M. Fowlcls and T. Clark; represents-' five on Employers' Association, Mr. C. Goldstone; representative on Chamber of Commerce, Mr. H. Court.
