DISCHARGE OF T. A. O'BRIEN. NO OFFENCE SUGGESTED. A motion for tho discharge from bankruptcy of Thomas A. O'Brien, picture theatro proprietor (Mr. Tinier), was granted by JNIr. Justice Herdman in the Supremo Court yesterday. 11 is Honor said that as the bankruptcy was a large ono ho had adjourned the case so that ho might have some more informal ion and ho had since had the advantago of an additional report from the official assignee. A supplementary report had been filed and in it there was a paragraph stating that, so far as the official assignee had been able to discover by investigation, tho debtor had not been guilty of any offence under the penal clauses of the Bankruptcy Act. As that statement and report showed that there was no evidence of any offence under tho Act, Ilis Honor proposed to grant tho application. If anything transpired afterward.—ho thought it was within ten years—tho order now made might bo cancelled. ]\lr. Inder, who appeared in support of the application, said there was very littlo likelihood indeed of anything of that sort. • His Honor: Very well. 1 grant the application.
