OTOROHANGA SHOW.
PROFIT MADE LAST YEAR. PRESENTATION TO PRESIDENT. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] OTOROHANGA, Friday. The balance-sheet presented at the annual meeting of the Otorohanga Agricultural and Pastoral Association last evening, when the president, Mr. W. B. McAdam, was in the chair, Bhowed a jirofit of £7O on last year's show, after paying the cost of erecting a shed, £l3O. The funds on hand totalled £244, and the membership exceeded 200. The election of officers resulted: Patron, Mr. W. J. Broadfoot, M.P.; president, Mr. 0. Dalziel; vice-presidents, Messrs. G. D. Hall and R. H. Cowen; executive committee, Messrs. J. Richmond, N. Smith, A. P. Grey, E. Boggucst, J. J. Walker, T. Cruapstone, H. Maxwell, V. Mc. D. Hitchings and G. 11. Boles; lion, surgeon, Dr. (J. B. Gilberd; auditor, Mr. C. Tucker. During the evening a presentation of a handsome clock was mado to Mr. .W. B. McAdam, the retiring president, who had removed to To Ivuiti after acting as president since the inception of the association eight years ago. Mr. C. B. Hobson made the presentation and Mr. McAdam suitably responded. Tho presentation of the miniature cups and certificates won in the root crop competitions was mado as follows :—Ensilage: Mr. J. J. Walker, 1; Mr. F. Phillips, 2. Swedes: Mr. G. A. Cornfoot, 1 (tho winner holding the King Country Cup for the year) ; Mr. R. Love, 2. Carrots: Mr. J. J. Walker, 1; Mr. H. A. Lurman, 2. Mangels: Mr. A. A. Ellis, 1; Mr. W. Ames, 2. Chou Mocllier: Mr. J. J. Walker, 1; Mr. H. A. Lurman, 2. Hay: Mr. S. Rankin, 1; Mr. H. A. Lurman, 2.
