WEDDINGS.

ARMSTRONG—DRIVER. The wodding took place in St. Mary's Cathedral, Auckland, on Thursday, November 6, of" Miss Ethehvyn Driver, second daughter of Mr, and Mrs. H. H. Driver, of Dunedin, to Mr. Clarence W Armstrong, of Hamilton. The bride, who entered (he church with her father, wore a frock of ivory-coloured georgette, the bodice relieved with pearled embroidery and the flared skirt falling to ankle length. The long veil was held in place with sprays of orange blossom and she carried a bouquet of exquisite roses shaded to deep yellow. Miss Grace Driver attended as bridesmaid, and wore a frock of powder blue organdie with frills of cream lace and a blue crinoline frock. She carried a bouquet of Iceland poppies. Mr. Colin Speight, of Hamilton, was best man. The service was conducted bv Canon W. Fancourt, Mr. Edgar Randal! playing tile wedding music. The reception was held at the Domain Tea Kiosk where Mrs. H H. Driver received the guests wearing a gown of blue crepe-dc-chinc with a black hat.

BLENNERHASSETT—CUMMINGS. The wedding took place at St. David s Church, Khyber Pass, recently, of Miss Dorothy Cummings, fifth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Cummings. of Maungatangi, to Mr. Edgar Blennerhassett, youngest son of Mrs. Blennerhassett, of Kaipara Flats, and of the late Mr. W. Blennerhassett, of Blennerville, Matarnata. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore an ankle-length frock of ivory georgette. finished at the waist with a cliamanto belt. Her Brussels net veil, which formed a train, was embroidered with pearls and caught to the head with sprays of orange blossom. She carried a sheath of lilies. In attendance as bridesmaids were Miss Valma Wood and Miss Melva Hardman, who wore frocks fashioned alike of peach soie do chine with Tuscan net hems appliqued with flowers, and corsages finished with tiny buttons. They wore lace hats and shoes to tone and carried shower bouquets. Tho bridegroom was attended by Mr. R. Blennerhassett as best man, and Mr. J. Cummings as groomsman. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Domain Kiosk, Mrs. Cummings receiving her guests in a floral frock over which she wore a black silk coat and hat to tone. Mrs. Blennerhassett, the bridegroom's mother, t was in a three-piece suit of black georgette.

MANNING—MACE. A wedding of interest was celobrated at ■St. Mark's Church. Te Aroha, last week, the brido and bridegroom being the descendants of two of the earliest settlers of the Mangaiti district. The bride was Miss Emily Mace, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mace, and the bridegroom Mr. William Manning, the only son of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Manning, of Auckland, and late of Mangaiti. The Rev. R L. Connolly was the officiating minister. Tho bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of white georgette with a shoulder posy of orange blossoms. Her veil foil to form a train and was caught round tho head with a band of silver. Her bouquet was of pink roses and lily of tho valley. The bridesmaid was Miss Margaret Mace, sister of tho bride, who was dre?sed in apple-green crepe de. chine, with long waist-line and uneven hem. She wore a fawn hat to tone. Little Edna Finlav, niece of the bride, was flower girl.

REEVES—SANDFORD. At the first wedding to be celebrated in St. Theodore's Church, tho brido was Miss Rose 11. C. Sandford, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Sandford, of Cosgrove, To Papa, and the bridegro6m Mr. Leslie J. J- Reeves, only son of Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Reeves, late of Weymouth. The ceremony was performed by tho Rev. W. Butler. Tho bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of white organdie with yoke and puff sleeves of silk net, and a flared skirt brought to ankle-length by a wide hem of silk net. She carried a sheaf of rod roses. In attendance were her three sisters. The chief bridesmaid, Miss Mary Sandford, wore a frock of pink organdie and carried a sheaf of pink roses. Miss Joan and Miss Beryl Sandford also wore pink organdie frocks, and carried small posies of pink roses. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. J. Sandford, brother of tho bride, as best man, and Mr. H. Keyte and F. Fenton were groomsmen. Mrs. C. 0. Sandford wore a blue frock with white fur stole and hat to tone. Mrs. 13. H. Reeves wore a red frock with a fawn hat.
