ZURICH AND KOTSONAROS. t OPEN-AIR CONTEST TO-DAY. .Considerable interest is being centred In the open-air wrestling match which is to bo staged at Alexandra Park this afternoon botween Georgo Kotsonaros, Greek champion, and Tom Lurich, heavy-weight champion of Russia. The bout is under the control of the New Zealand Wrestling Association, and will be the first open-air wrestling contest to be held in Auckland. Kotsonaros, by defeating Scotty McDougall and taking George Walker the full eight rounds for a draw has already proved himself a wrestler of exceptional ability, with a large number of holds at Jiis command, notably his famous keylock. Lurich has suffered defeat at the hands of George Walker on three occasions, although he fully extended his op ponent in each match. His chief asset is his deadly figure-four body scissors.
