BODY IN THE HARBOUR.
OPEN VERDICT RETURNED. A Terdict that deceased was found drowned' was returned bv Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., coroner, at the adjourned innuest yesterday concerning tho death of Ralph James Guy, a farmer, aged •bout 40, of Hik uai, near Thames. Evidence of identification was given by Leonard Wright Key. Dr. Murray s;iid that in his opinion death was due to drowning. Harold Brown, ari employee of the Auckland Harbour Board, said on September 18 he noticed the body of a man floating in the harbour near the .Admiralty /'steps. He communicated with the police and later assisted two constables to recover the body. Arthur Clifford George Sexton, solicitor, eaid deceased called at his office some time earlier and appeared distraught, but gave no/indication of intending to commit Suicide.
