REDUCTION OF COSTS.
SUGGESTION AT TE AWAMUTU. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN COIinESPONPENT.] TE AWAMUTU, Tuesday. The Te Awamutu branch of the Now Zealand Fanners' Union has carried the following resolution: —"That action be taken to bring before the community the necessity for reconstructing the economic condition of the Dominion, with a view to reducing costs; and that a conference of the most intelligent representatives of the farming, business and labour organisations be held to educate public opinion with a view to forcing political action that may be necessary to assist in bringing about a condition of prosperity for all classes."
