BAYSWATER WAITING-ROOM.
Sir, —The waiting room erected by the North Shore Transport Company when it took over the Takapuna transport business has been much appreciated by residents and travellers. The buses run to regularly to meet tho steamer that there is only short delay, but when it is raining or blowing hard, such as it was last week, tho shelter of the waiting room, even for a short time, is a boon, but for some unexplained reason it is now used as a place for storage of motor-bikes and cycles, which occupy nearly tho wholo waiting-room space. The action of tho company in allowing the waiting room to be used as a garage for assorted bikes is most inconvenient to the travelling public, and is rightly taken strong exception to. It behoves the company to protect the public against this invasion of motor-bikes and bicycles and to see tlvfc they are not allowed to be stored iu a public waiting room. Takafu.va Resident.
