McMorrine, widow of Ihe la to Mr. .lames McMorrine, m her olst year. Mrs. McMorrine went f roii i England to Australia wilh her parents. She. was married to Mr. McMorrine, who farmed in New South Wales until lie lost everything in a serious (lood. (Her 30 veais ago Mr. and Mrs. McMorrine and their family came to Xew Zealand. For a time they resided in Tauranga and then took up land at Te Puna Point. Mr. McMorrine died 23 years ago. One son and six daughters survive.
MP. W. 11. TAYLOR. [|lV Tll.kiili.U'lt. —l'l! ESS ASSOCIATION.] WHIT/INC TON. Wednesday. The death has occurred of Mr. W. 11. Tavlor, a former horticulturist to the Department of Agriculture, which be joined in 1904. Mr. Taylor, who was 74 years of age, had great practical knowledge. He was in charge of the nurseries at Weraroa. and was later manager of the experimental farm at Aratoki, and was subsequently appointed Government horticulturist. Ho retired seven years ago.
