ADAMS—BURNS. Tlio marriage of Miss Edith Mar par cf, Burns, second daughter of Mr. aud Mrs. Archibald Burns, of Owens Road, Epsom, to Mr. Harold Campbell Adams, younger son of Mrs. and the lato Mr. W. H. Adams, of Armadalo Road, Remuera, was celebrated at St. Luke's Church last evening. The Rev. J. A. Thompson performed the ceremony. The bride, who was giveu away by her father, wore a frock with a bodice and long tight-fitting sleeves of cream embossed chenille georgette and a skirt of plain georgette falling to the ankles iii three flared tiers, ller embroidered tulle veil, which formed a train, was arranged on the head with a lace cap caught at each side with orange blossom. She carried a shower bouquet of white flowers with touches of palo pink. In attendance as bridesmaid was Miss Grace Burns, sister of the bride, who woro an ankle-length frock of powder blue organdie with a cape collar and_ a deep hem of pink organdie. Her blue picture hat was trimmed with pink rosebuds and she carried a bouquet of pink flowers. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr. W. H.. Adams, as best man. Mrs. Burns, mother of the bride, wore ft frock of black embossed georgette with a black and white hat. She carried a bouquet of mauve flowers. Mrs. Adanis, the bridegroom's mother, was in a navy ensemble, and carried a bouquet of autumn-shaded flowers.

BULLOCK—MAIDEN. St. Columba Church, Grey Lynn, was the sceno of the wedding last evening of Miss Marjorie Elizabeth Maiden, fourth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Maiden, of Campbell Road, Grey Lynn, to Mr. Renuio Bullock, second son of Mr. and Mrs. .T. L. Bullock, of Grey Lynn. The Rev. R H. Hobday performed the ceremony, and Mr. Chitty played the wedding music. The bride, who was given away by her father, woro a frock of rosepetal pink georgette with a short cape suspended from the shoulders, and a flared skirt falling in points to the ankles. The skirt was embroidered with ruched georgette, which outlined the hip yoke and formed panels on each side, from the waist to the hem. Her veil of pink tulle was embroidered in silver, and was arranged oil the head with clusters of pink primroses over each ear. She carried a shower bouquet of pink flowers. In attendance as bridesmaid was Miss Lorna Richardson, who wore a frock of powder blue georgette cut on straight lines, with a shoulder cape, and a full skirt which dipped to the ankles at the back. She wore a blue Bangkok hat and carried a bouquet of pink and blue flowers. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. H. A. Maiden as best man. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Domain Kiosk, Mrs. Maiden receiving in a of golden-brown ring velvot and coffee lace, with a brown Ballibuntal hat. Sho carried a bououet of autumn-shaded flowers. Mrs. Bullock •was in black floral crepo de chine with a ring velvet hem, and a black hat,. Sho carried a bouquet of mauve flowers. NELSON—FORDHAM. The wedding was celebrated at the Methodist Church, Birkdale, recently of Miss Marjorio Edna Fordham, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Fordham, of Birkdale, to Mr. Edwin Nutter Nelson, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Nelson, of Okaihau. The Rev. J. D. Hickman, of Rawene, officiated,"and Miss E. Brown played the wedding music. The service was fully choral. The bride was given away by hor father, ami woro a frock of beigo crepo de chine with a toning veil of tulle, hold in placo with a coronet of orange blossom. She carried a shower bouquet of pink and whito stock and sweet peas. The bridesmaids, both sisters of the bride, were Miss Eileen Fordham, who wore a frock of apricot crepo do chine wiith a hat to tone, and Miss Nila Fordham, in mauve crepe de chino and hat to correspond. Both carried bouquets of pink and mauve stock and sweet peas. Mr. Frank Nelson, of Okaihau, attended his brother as best man. A reception was held after the ceremony in the Methodist Hall. Tho bride's mother received her guests wearing a midnight bluo ensemble with hat to tono. , MULGREW—SMARDON. Tho wedding was celebrated at St. David's Presbyterian Church, To Arohn, on Wednesday afternoon, between Miss Hinemoa Smardon, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Smardon, of Horriesville, To Arohn, and Mr. Waller Frank Mulgrcw. eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Mulgrow, of To Aroha, Tho Rev. H. B. Hughes performed the coromony. The church was decorated by a number of friends for tho occasion. Tho bride, who was given away by her father, woro a princess frock of ivory silk georgette, with hip yoke and ankle-longth skirt. Hor white embroidered veil and silk lace train was clasped with a fan coronet of pearl and orango blossoms. Tho matron of honour was Mrs. Howard Robertson, sister of tho bridegroom, who was in roseshaded satin beaute, with tight-fitting 'bodice and anklo-length skirt, and hat to tone. The bridegioom was attended bv Mr. Howard Robertson as best man. At tho reception held after tho ceremony in the Parish Ilall, tho bride's mother received her guests wearing a frock of black silk celanese, with fox fur and hat to tono. The bridegroom's mother woro a grey silk radium lace frock, with a navy bluo satin beauto coat, and hat to harmonise.
