PROPOSED HIGH SCHOOL.
POSITION AT PAPAKURA. < DEPARTMENT DEFERS QUESTION. The question of the erection of a high school at Papakura has been deferred, owing to the recent establishment of a post-primary school at Otahuhn, according to advice received from the director of education, Mr. T. B. Strong, at the meeting of the Papakura Chamber of Commerce last evening.
The director further stated that the department considered that the new Otahuhu school would serve the needs of tho district for the present.
