NEW BRIDGE CONTRACT.
AUCKLAND FIRM'S TENDER. A contract has been let by the Taupo Totara Timber Company, Ltd., to "Wilcox and Company, Ltd., of Auckland, for the construction of a bridgo over the Waikato at Ongarolo, hear Atiamuri, for tho company's timber railway, which runs from l'utaruru, on tho llotorua railway line, to tho sawmill at Mokai, a distance of 50 miles. Tho new structure, which is to be. built of steel on concrete foundations, will be 250ft>; in length.
