STRUCK OFF BOLLS.
THEFTS BY SOLICITOR. FORMER GISBORNE PRACTICE. [n v TEtEoriArrr.—ritEss association.] \VRTjLIJsOTOX, Wednesday. The Court of Appeal this morning made an order striking Robert George Gardiner Bain off the rolls of practising barristers and solicitors of the. Dominion. Counsel for the. New Zealand Law Society, Mr. Free, said Bain formerly practised in Gisborne, but had recently been convicted of numerous charges of theft from various clients, and at present was serving a term of reformative detention for 12 months, the amount involved in these charges boiiiß £271 ,13s 6d. An order was made for the payment of £ls 15s costs to the Law Society.
