W, Perkins {Auckland) are on their waiy toi /Norway and the northern capitals, but .they, will be in London again for a few weeks before leaving for Canada on their way home. They received invitations to the Royal garden party at Buckingham- Palace in July, and then they left for a motor trip through England, Scotland and Wales. They went to Dublin for the Royal. Show. Dr. and Mrs. G. M. ;Moir„ .whd havo booked to leave by the Naldera, will make a short stay in Australia: They expect to reach Auckland before the end of October. Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Swinnock (Auckland) are returning by the Rangitata, leaving on August 20. Mrs. Swinnock has spent nearly a month visiting Holland, Germany, Switzerland and Frauce, travelling with her sister and brother-in-law from San Francisco. Mr.. Swinnock has been for most of the time with relatives in the south of England. Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Harrison and Miss C. Harrison (Whangarei) are at Torquay, where they will remain until the beginning of tho winter, and then they will come to London on their way to the Continent, They will visit Switzerland, and spend the greater part of the winter on the »Italian Riviera and in Southern France; An interesting issue of "Art in Now Zealand" will be produced iu December this year when the work of a number of New Zealand artists who are studying abroad will be published Tho issue will contain pictures in three colours, as well as some etchings in photogravure, and black and white. Work by the following artists, among others, will appear in tho issue:—Mr. Sydney L. Thompson, Mrs. Eleanor- Hughes, * Mr. .Cecil Jameson, Miss E. Morrah—all of Christchurch: Mr. Herbert Thompson (Dunedin), Miss Hester Frood (Wairarapa), Mr. F. Coventry (Wellington), Mr. Fred Porter and Sir. R. S. Hellaby (Auckland). Mr. H. \ H. Tombs, director of art, in New Zea-" land, is at present in Belgium, with Sirs. Tombs, on a sketching tour. He will go to Cornwall on a similar mission ,at the end of August
