NORTHCOTE WOMEN.
'i'lio monthly meeting of the Northcoto Women's Progressive League, held in tlio Parish Ilall, was largely attended. The past, president, Mrs. J. W. McLaughlin, presided. Mrs. F. C. Swinbank, delegato, reported upon the last meeting of the National Council of Women.
An interesting address on tlio women of India was given by the Rev. F. W. Wilkes. Appreciation was expressed at tho'. allocation made toward local relief by the Auckland commercial travellers from tlio "poor and needy drive" fund.
